WORMS!
Yay! Josh sent me worms! They are so cute! Well, as cute as worms can be. And I think they are happy in their new home. (Can you tell if worms are happy?!?) The first of three trays is full of food and dirt with the second on its way, so they should be. Right now, we’ve got a few handfuls of dirt, lots of coconut fibers, a sweet potato, some apples and a couple of weeks of scraps from prepping vegetables in the bins. My roommate is clearly not thrilled that we have new pets, but I bet she won’t be able to tell the difference between having just materials for composting vs. having worms and composting materials around. I can’t wait to give my garden worm tea. :)
