The Bok Choi Invasion Begins!

I gave away two fine looking Bok Choi today. And I cut four for myself to use tomorrow. The plan is to sautee with ginger, garlic and a smidge of olive oil then dowse with oyster sauce. I have a bunch more than need to be cut and eaten, so if you have good uses for them, please, please tell me. I need to clear them out of Greens Bin 2 so there is space for the carrots that are currently underneath them to get sunlight and grow. I also cut mesclun greens and a few lettuce leaves for my roommate to to Israeli Couscous today (With lemon zest, lemon juice olive oil, pinenuts and feta) that were excellent.

The radishes continue to delight - I gave 7 away to my friend Alex tonight (we split a CSA share, so she came over for her portion since I picked up this week for us) and put 6 in salad last night for dinner.

The beet leaves look really good. I need to try to remember to check the seed package to figure out when they will be ready to pick.

I’ll try to take pictures tomorrow of the backyard - things have been growing like wonderful, edible weeds. :)

*The Bok Choi seeds are the only non-organic ones I’ve planted.
